Richard A. Zuber Realty agent Gary Pace wants the community to feel confident about Pottstown School District. “I had a great time at the Pottstown Senior High School Real Estate Luncheon recently, notes Pace. “We first had an amazing lunch prepared by the culinary arts students and then learned about the many great programs the district offers.
“As an alumni, I was pleased at the district’s mission to equip students for the workplace and beyond. I left the luncheon ‘Pottstown Proud’ and want to thank superintendent Stephen Rodriguez; Dr. Christian D’Annibale; Mr. Amato, director of community relations; and staff for inviting realtors to see for ourselves what great things are happening in our schools.”
Rodriguez expresses pride that graduates repeatedly return to affirm how they were prepared to work and live in the world because of their experiences in the district. In 2022, Rodriguez was named among three top superintendents in a field of 500 by the Pennsylvania Association of School Administrators, serves as President of the Pennsylvania League of Urban Schools, and named “Educator of the Year” by the TriCounty Chamber of Commerce in recognition of his advocacy efforts for fair and equitable school funding for all of the state’s public school children.
Pace offers, “Folks looking to purchase homes in the Pottstown School District area will feel confident knowing their children will receive a quality education. Realtors know how important that knowledge is to families,” he concludes.
The district, established in 1881 with a current enrollment of 3300 students and boasting over 20,000 graduates, names as its mission: “Prepare each student by name for success at every level.”
